1. 27 memorial tower

The 27th memorial tower is fully known as Zhengzhou 27th strike memorial tower. It was built to commemorate the 27th strike, which took place on February 7, 1923. It is located in Erqi square, Zhengzhou city. It was built in 1971. Reinforced concrete structure is a unique ancient Twin Tower of Chinese architecture. It is a memorial building built to commemorate the strike of Beijing Han railway workers. In 2006, it was listed as the national key cultural relics protection unit, and the youngest national key cultural relics protection unit in China (the 27 memorial tower is built in 1971, which has a history of 50 years since now).

The 27th memorial tower has 14 floors, including 3 floors of tower base and 11 floors in the tower body. Walk up the marble steps and enter the exhibition hall. The walls are carved with relief of railway workers, and a directory of tour guidance is placed beside them. Then, one exhibition hall on each floor is up, with eight exhibition halls, eight themes: the construction of Beijing Han railway and the early workers' movement, the establishment of the General Union of Beijing Han railway, the strike of workers on the Beijing Han railway, the restoration and re destruction of the workers' movement, the eternal memorial, the present and the past of the 27th tower, the memories of the city and the future. We visited in turn. Each exhibition hall is filled with various historical relics, pictures and text materials of the "27" strike, which can make it clear to understand the glorious deeds of revolutionary martyrs. A picture, a paragraph of text, and one piece of material object tell the arduous and glorious process, which makes us feel the great feelings of revolutionary martyrs in love with their motherland, their great feelings of love for the people and the spirit of bravery and perseverance.

After the second National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party established the Secretary Department of China's labor mix, which led the workers' movement. From January 1922 to February 1923, the first climax of Chinese labor movement was set off. In the past 13 months, there have been more than 100 large and small strikes across the country, with more than 300000 participants. Among them, the Beijing Han railway workers strike staged the most heroic scene.

On February 7, 1923, under the order of Wu Peifu, Xiao Yaonan, the inspector general of Hubei Province, used the excuse of mediating the labor unrest to trick the trade union representatives to "negotiate" with the Jiang'an trade union. On the way to the trade union office, the trade union representatives were shot by the reactionary army. More than 30 people were killed and more than 200 injured by the unarmed workers' picket team on the spot, resulting in the "February 7" tragedy that shocked China and foreign countries.

There is an online memorial system in the February 7th memorial tower. Students present flowers one after another to commemorate the 52 heroes who died in the strike.

2. February 7th Memorial Hall

Zhengzhou Erqi memorial hall is located at No.82, middle section of Qiantang Road, Zhengzhou city. It is the former site of the general park meeting of the founding conference of the General Union of Beijing Han railway in 1923. It is a revolutionary historical building built to commemorate the strike of Beijing Han railway workers. The completion of Erqi Memorial Hall in Zhengzhou in 1952 is a great event in the modern history of Zhengzhou. The 27 memorial hall started construction in September 1951 and was completed in November 1952. The Erqi Memorial Hall and the Erqi memorial tower are the city name cards of "Erqi city" in Zhengzhou.

The Beijing Han railway workers' strike was the climax of the first labor movement led by the Communist Party of China. It further shows the strength of the Chinese working class and expands the party's influence among the people of the whole country. Although the strike failed, the lives and blood of the workers further awakened the Chinese people and made them realize more clearly that imperialism and feudal warlords were the enemies of the Chinese people and they must fight against them to the end in order to gain real freedom and liberation.

Representatives of Party members and members of the delegation of our school ascended the top building of the February 7th memorial tower and looked at this city which has been baptised by the war and is becoming increasingly prosperous. Today's quiet years are the result of the bloody struggle of our ancestors. As the inheritors of the revolutionary spirit, we should constantly strive for self-improvement, inherit the revolutionary spirit and strive for the rise of China.
